Welcome to Foothills!

Nestled in the Catskill mountains, in the highly accessible university city of Oneonta, Foothills Performing Arts Center is a not-for-profit entertainment and civic center that serves the cultural, educational, and community needs of the Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango region.

Since its grand opening in 2005, FPAC has become an exciting modern venue for live entertainment from nationally known artists and bands, as well as local favorites. Drama, vocal, and musical instruction is available at Foothills, and it is home to resident acting company S.T.A.R.T. In addition, Foothills is the rehearsal home for local youth string orchestra, the Little Delaware Youth Ensemble.

With a variety of venues that welcomes groups from 20-775 people, Foothills has also become a leading destination for private, corporate, conference, and community events.

A Variety of Unique Event Spaces

We offer a unique modern space in a beautiful country setting with a  convenient downtown address.

It's the perfect location for meetings, performances, parties and other gatherings.

Our boardroom seats up to 20 people, the cozy upstairs theater holds 100 people seated, and our large production room holds 200 people.

For larger events, come and see our beautiful glass-enclosed atrium. It has been used for weddings, birthday parties, and company celebrations. The atrium accommodates between 300 and 500 people.

We also offer use of our expansive main theater, which can accommodate 775 seats.

Free Family Event Sunday April 29th - Local musician and music educator, Pam West, will give a free all-ages family concert at the Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center from 2:00pm-3:30pm.  The free concert is to celebrate the release of her newest children’s album Unicorn Crossing. Foothills provides new service for theatre attendees
February 20, 2012 -- Foothills is proud to announce that all seats are now reserved seating, unless otherwise noted.

Foothills has implemented a new software program that enables all ticket purchasers the choice of gold, silver or general seating for major performances.

The center realized that there was a need and listened to the community to add this great feature for community members. Reserved seating for all major events will assist in making an evening at Foothills more enjoyable. It has been another value-added effort of Foothills' mission to continue to provide the best cultural, educational, and civic experiences for our community.

Board of Directors welcomes new member
February 20, 2012 -- Foothills is pleased to announce that David Hayes has joined the Foothills board of directors. David has contributed so much to the Oneonta community in his work with Oneonta Main Street and First Night. His wealth of experience and committment will be an enormous plus for Foothills and its mission.
